With some free time on my hands, I’m still working on restoring the website. Scraping/way-backing/and combing through the computer has helped me restore over 150 posts so far — that’s just the first 5 years. More coming soon!
Thanks for bearing with us!
Hope your restoration moves along. I’d like to hear more about your boatyard experiences. We spent about 18 months in Mazatlan aboard our DF 41 back in 97-99. We absolutely loved it and wish we would have stayed longer. Mexico was the best cruising experience we have had. So much better than the Bahamas! We’re envious!
Thanks for the comment! It’s been a pain in the butt to try to rebuild the website after a catastrophic hack. I’ve had to comb through the computer(s), access the Internet “way-back” machine, and crawl through thousands of photos. But it’s coming along, day by day. We are enchanted with Mexico, and talk frequently about whether we should winterize the boat for shipment to Victoria or just stay here through retirement, as long as our health holds up. And we’ve absolutely loved the Sea of Cortez for swimming, snorkeling, diving, and just island-hopping. Stay tuned! Do you still have your boat?
